The Category “C2A” Prison HMP Glen Parva is part of HM Government’s new rollout of Super-Prisons throughout the UK.
The site is built on a previous Young Offenders Institute in Leicester and is approximately 163,000 sq m in size, and the buildings cover a floor space of 62,437 sq m.
The site consists of 16 buildings made up of 7 houseblocks containing 1600 units, 3 substations and 6 support buildings that form a learning / support complex.
Our scope of works includes the installation of the CCTV system, Fire Alarms, the General Alarm, Cell Call, Cell Fire Misting , Tamper Alarm, Disabled Refuge and WC Alarms.
