Royal Derby Hospital

Royal Derby Hospital was one of the first tranche of PFI hospitals in the UK.

This involved the remodelling and redevelopment of the old hospital site. The new development was 155,000 m2 and comprises 35 operating theatres, a treatment centre for day patients, a children’s ward, and a gynaecological department.

We undertook multiple packages of work between 2005 and 2009, carrying out installations to three of the primary buildings.

Our scope of works included the installation of primary containment, LV, sub mains, panel boards, distribution boards, secondary containment, small power, lighting and lighting control.

The project was successfully delivered in 2009.
